However, a specific fraction of Vayu is responsible for pain in a specific region such as; generalized pain is caused by Vyana Vayu, headache -Prana and Vyana Vayu, abdominal pain -Saman and Apan Vayu and chest pain - Vyan and Pran Vayu.

How does Ayurveda help in Joint Pain?
Joint pain is known as Sandhi Shoola according to Ayurveda. According to Ayurveda, joint & muscle pains caused by both internal and external factors are a direct result of the aggravation of Vata dosha (which becomes more common in old age when Vata naturally increases in the body.
Meats, foods such as ice cream, excessive concentrated dairy such as aged cheese or goods of sour cream or cheese, cold foods especially during cold weather, confectionaries such as heavy cakes, pastries and candies, packaged and processed foods with little fibre are to be avoided. Vegetables and legumes that cause gas also create more internal air which moves the toxins to different parts to worsen the condition by blocking tissue pores and passages. It causes heaviness and weakness of the heart which becomes the foundation of the disease. In Similar ways, the following ailments are also the mainstay of Ayurvedic treatments:
  • Back Pain
  • Knee Pain and Swelling
  • Arthritis
  • Spondylosis
  • Ankylosing Spondylitis
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Migraine
  • Sinus
Chronic pain is usually increased by mental, emotional and physical stress. Ayurveda treats stress by massage, heat treatments and yoga asana postures. Vata imbalance causes pain and is it can be corrected by specific diets, herbs, cleansing programs, meditation, yoga asanas and yoga breathing exercises. Abhyanga, meditation techniques, herbs that target Tarpaka Kapha, Prana Vata and Sadhaka Pitta are the focus, Rasayanas are very beneficial in these cases. Our trained physicians will be able to assist each patient with their own customised treatment plan, depending on their needs. Mind and body interventions are beneficial in stress-related mental and physical disorders. Current research has found associations between emotional disorders and the heart rate variability that affect the vagus nerves. Yogic breathing techniques are a unique method for balancing the autonomic nervous system and influencing psychological and stress-related disorders. One great example is the Sudarshan Kriya Yoga technique – which helps alleviate anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD symptoms and stress-related medical illnesses. .
If we want to experience optimal health, it is crucial to maintain a strong digestive fire and eliminate toxins from the body. Panchakarma is a time-proven natural therapy that detoxifies and restores the body’s inner balance and vitality. Ayurvedic Enema – In the form of Basti technique, administering enema and eliminating toxins is one of the key therapies in Ayurveda. Colon Hydrotherapy – Similar to an enema, this removes waste from the system in a thorough manner.
Causes of Gas & Indigestion
Gas in the digestive tract—the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine—comes from two sources:
swallowed air
normal breakdown of certain undigested foods by harmless bacteria naturally present in the large intestine; the colon
There are many remedies to helping and easing gastric troubles. They are a combination of diet, herbal remedies, yogasanas and certain Ayurvedic supplements.
When it comes to weight loss, Ayurveda does not focus on short-term gains only to fail us later. It aims to change the very lifestyle, adding benefit and routine to our daily living, and improving our living standards.
Some say only five main points are to be considered when contemplating weight loss:
Practice fifteen minutes of yoga every morning.
Eat three satisfying meals daily.
Follow a kapha-pacifying diet.
Exercise at least three days per week.
Establish a daily routine to support your commitments.

  • The amount of remedies for good skin from Ayurveda is immense. There are benefits to be find in every natural substance, ingested internally or externally.
Ayurveda follows the philosophy that while skin conditions appear superficial in nature, the skin is actually a reflection of hidden functions within each of our bodies. Skin conditions are rarely caused by an issue on the surface of the skin; they are far more likely to be the result of a deeper imbalance from within the body, so just treating the symptoms alone will not be as effective as working from the inside.
This is why Ayurvedic skin care aims to identify and treat the underlying cause of skin imbalances—an approach that is time intensive but that leads to real and sustained results.
